SEE ALSO...

AIP5 Antibody (F-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects AIP5 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). AIP5 (F-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. AIP5 plays a crucial role in cellular processes by interacting with atrophin-1, particularly in the context of polyglutamine diseases, which are linked to neurodegenerative disorders. AIP5 is characterized by four WW domains, which are essential for protein-protein interactions, allowing AIP5 to bind to other proteins involved in signaling pathways and cellular regulation. The presence of a HECT domain in AIP5 indicates potential function as an E3 ubiquitin ligase, which is vital for tagging proteins for degradation, thus maintaining cellular homeostasis. Understanding AIP5 interactions and functions is important for elucidating mechanisms underlying diseases associated with protein misfolding and aggregation, making anti-AIP5 antibody (F-3) a valuable tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.
