AGR2/3 Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects AGR2/3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). AGR2/3 (C-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. AGR2, also known as Anterior Gradient Protein 2, AG2, GOB-4, or HAG-2, plays a crucial role in cellular processes as a secretory protein involved in epithelial cell differentiation and proliferation regulation. AGR2 expression is particularly significant in cancer, showing up-regulation in various malignancies, including prostate, breast, lung, renal, and endometrial cancers. AGR2′s ability to interact with specific partners such as LYPD3 and α-dystroglycan (DAG-1) highlights AGR2′s importance in cellular signaling pathways and tissue homeostasis. AGR2 expression correlates positively with estrogen receptor levels while inversely correlating with epidermal growth factor receptor expression, suggesting AGR2′s potential as a therapeutic marker in cancer treatment strategies.
