SEE ALSO...

ADRM1 Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects ADRM1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ADRM1, also known as adhesion-regulating molecule 1, GP110, ARM-1, or Rpn13, is a 407 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes by localizing to both the nucleus and cytoplasm. ADRM1 is integral to the membrane and primarily involved in recruiting UCH-L5, a deubiquitinating enzyme, to the 26S proteasome, thereby enhancing UCH-L5 activity and facilitating ubiquitinated protein degradation. ADRM1 functions in lymphocyte adhesion within endothelial cells, which is vital for lymphocyte homing and immune response. ADRM1 expression is induced by interferon-gamma in certain cancer cell lines and upregulated in various metastatic cells, indicating potential involvement in carcinogenesis. Two isoforms of ADRM1 arise from alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity in different cellular contexts.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-376221 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
