Anti-ADAMTS-2 Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 (kappa light chain) ADAMTS-2 antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
raised against amino acids 1091-1211 mapping at the C-terminus of ADAMTS-2 of human origin
Anti-ADAMTS-2 Antibody (F-4) is recommended for detection of ADAMTS-2 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
Anti-ADAMTS-2 Antibody (F-4) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems

ADAMTS-2 Antibody (F-4) is a high quality monoclonal ADAMTS-2 antibody (also designated ADAMTS-2 antibody) suitable for the detection of the ADAMTS-2 protein of mouse, rat and human origin. ADAMTS-2 Antibody (F-4) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-ADAMTS-2 antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-ADAMTS-2 antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ADAMTS (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain with Thrombospondin type-1 modules) is a family of zinc-dependent proteases that are implicated in a variety of normal and pathological conditions, including arthritis and cancer. ADAMTS protein family members contain an N-terminal propeptide domain, a metalloproteinase domain, a disintegrin-like domain and a C-terminus that contains a varying number of thrombospondin type-1 (TSP-1) motifs. ADAMTS genes are primarily expressed in fetal tissues, including the lung, kidney and liver. ADAMTS-2 cleaves the propeptides of Collagen Type I and II, but not Collagen Type III, prior to fibril assembly. It may also play a role in development aside from collagen biosynthesis. ADAMTS-2 is secreted and associated with the extracellular matrix, with the highest levels in skin, bone, tendon and aorta. Defects in ADAMTS2 are the cause of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome type VIIC (EDS VIIC), a recessively inherited connective-tissue disorder characterized clinically by severe skin fragility and joint hypermobility.
