ACTR6 Antibody (G-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ACTR6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ACTR6 (G-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ACTR6 protein, also known as actin-related protein 6, ARP6, HSPC281, or CDA12, consists of 396 amino acids and is primarily located in the cytoplasm and cytoskeleton, where ACTR6 plays a crucial role in the regulation of actin dynamics and cellular morphology. ACTR6 is essential for various cellular processes, including cell motility, division, and the maintenance of cell shape, making ACTR6 vital for normal development and tissue homeostasis. The gene encoding ACTR6 is situated on human chromosome 12, a region associated with several skeletal deformities and developmental disorders, highlighting ACTR6′s importance in both health and disease. ACTR6′s presence in the cytoskeleton underscores its significance in cellular architecture and function, as ACTR6 interacts with other actin-related proteins to facilitate the assembly of actin filaments, which are critical for numerous cellular activities.
