    SEE ALSO...

AChRγ Antibody (145) is a rat monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects AChR gamma of Torpedo origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-AChR gamma antibody (145) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. AChR gamma, consisting of 517 amino acids, is a crucial component of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor family, which is essential for fast synaptic transmission in the neuromuscular junction. AChR gamma plays a significant role in ligand binding and neuromuscular organogenesis, facilitating the binding of acetylcholine and the subsequent ion flow through the receptor′s transmembrane pore. Proper functioning of AChR gamma is vital, as mutations in the gene encoding AChR gamma can lead to severe developmental disorders such as Escobar syndrome and a lethal form of multiple pterygium syndrome. Using AChR gamma (145) monoclonal antibody in research can provide insights into the mechanisms of synaptic transmission and the implications of genetic mutations affecting neuromuscular function.

How much sample do you recommend loading on the gel for Western blot detection using AChRγ (145): sc-65759?

    Asked by: TinTin
We recommend loading 40–60 µg whole cell lysate, 10–20 µg nuclear extract, 5-10 µg transfected lysate, or 10–20 ng purified protein per lane. A link to our complete Western blotting protocol is provided here for your reference: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/western-immuno-blotting
