53BP2 Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects 53BP2 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-53BP2 antibody (H-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. 53BP2 plays a crucial role in the cellular response to DNA damage, particularly in p53-mediated tumor suppression. 53BP2 interacts specifically with the central DNA-binding domain of wild-type p53, which is essential for function in regulating cell cycle and apoptosis. Notably, 53BP2 binding to p53 depends on p53 conformation, highlighting the importance of protein structure in mediating these critical interactions.
