3BP1 Antibody (D-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects 3BP1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). 3BP1 (D-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SH3 domain-binding protein 1 (3BP1) is a 701 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways by interacting with SH3 domains of various signal transduction proteins, particularly SRC-1 and GRB2. This interaction facilitates the regulation of cellular processes such as growth, differentiation, and cytoskeletal dynamics. Additionally, anti-3BP1 antibody (D-9) has been shown to inhibit platelet-derived growth factor-induced membrane ruffling mediated by Rac, highlighting 3BP1′s importance in modulating actin cytoskeleton rearrangements. 3BP1 exists in two isoforms due to alternative splicing and features one BAR domain and one Rho-GAP domain, which are essential for cellular signaling and cytoskeletal organization.
