26S Proteasome p42A Antibody (243) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects 26S proteasome p42A in human samples by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). 26S proteasome p42A, also known as Rpn7 in yeast and S10 in humans, is a crucial component of the 19S regulatory complex of the 26S proteasome, which recognizes ubiquitinated proteins, removes their ubiquitin chains, and facilitates translocation to the 20S core for degradation.
