26S Proteasome p42A Antibody (123) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects 26S Proteasome p42A protein of Drosophila melanogaster origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-26S Proteasome p42A antibody (123) is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. 26S proteasome is a crucial multi-subunit complex responsible for degrading ubiquitinated proteins, a process vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating numerous biological pathways. This complex comprises over 30 distinct subunits, including 26S Proteasome p42A, also referred to as Rpn7 in yeast and S10 in humans. 26S Proteasome p42A is integral to stability and assembly of 19S regulatory complex, which plays a key role in recognizing ubiquitinated substrates, removing ubiquitin tags, and facilitating translocation into 20S core for degradation. 26S Proteasome p42A (123) monoclonal antibody supports research focused on proteostasis and cellular regulation, where proper functioning of 26S proteasome is essential for processes such as cell cycle regulation, apoptosis, and modulation of various signaling pathways.
