15-LO2 Antibody (F-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects 15-LO2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-15-LO2 antibody (F-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. 15-lipoxygenase type II (15-LO2) plays a crucial role in arachidonic acid metabolism, converting arachidonic acid into 15S-hydroperoxyeicosatetraenoic acid, which is essential for producing bioactive lipid mediators involved in various physiological processes. 15-LO2 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and expressed in specific tissues such as cornea, lung, hair, and prostate, highlighting importance in tissue-specific functions and responses.
