12-LO Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects 12-LO protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-12-LO antibody (C-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. 12-LO (C-5) antibody recognizes a member of the lipoxygenase family that plays a crucial role in arachidonic acid metabolism, leading to bioactive lipid mediators involved in cell growth, survival, and apoptosis. 12-LO (C-5) monoclonal antibody targets an enzyme that catalyzes arachidonic acid conversion into 12-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid, a metabolite influencing integrin expression and actin microfilament localization, particularly in cancer cells such as rat Walker 256 carcinosarcoma cells.
