SH-PTP2 Antibody (B-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the SH-PTP2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHCP, FCM, and ELISA. SH-PTP2 Antibody (B-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC, and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SH-PTP2 protein, also known as PTPN11 or protein tyrosine phosphatase non-receptor type 11, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by regulating the phosphorylation state of tyrosine residues on proteins, which is essential for controlling various cellular processes such as growth, differentiation, and metabolism. Located primarily in the cytoplasm, SH-PTP2 interacts with a variety of signaling molecules, including growth factor receptors and other phosphotyrosine-containing proteins, thereby influencing pathways that are vital for cellular responses to external stimuli. The importance of SH-PTP2 is underscored by its involvement in several diseases, including cancer, where dysregulation of its activity can lead to aberrant signaling and tumor progression. With its ability to modulate key signaling pathways, SH-PTP2 serves as a significant target for therapeutic intervention and research into cellular mechanisms.
