PBEF Antibody (E-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects pre-B cell-enhancing factor (PBEF) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PBEF, also known as nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (Nampt) or visfatin, plays a crucial role in NAD biosynthesis, catalyzing the conversion of nicotinamide and 5-phosphoribosyl-1-pyrophosphate into nicotinamide mononucleotide, a key intermediate in the NAD synthesis pathway.
