SEE ALSO...

CD67 Antibody (GM2H6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CD67 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CD67 (GM2H6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CD67 protein, also known as carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 8, is encoded by the CEACAM8 gene and is primarily expressed in neutrophils and eosinophils, playing a crucial role in immune response. CD67 is localized in the secondary granules of neutrophils, where CD67 is essential for mediating cell adhesion and facilitating interactions between immune cells. This localization allows for rapid mobilization and surface expression of CD67 upon granulocyte activation, enhancing immune response during inflammation. CD67 protein′s ability to interact with other adhesion molecules, such as CD66c, underscores CD67′s importance in the late stages of granulocyte differentiation and function. CD67 is also expressed in leukocytes from chronic myeloid leukemia patients and is found in various tissues, including bone marrow, spleen, thymus, and lungs, highlighting CD67′s relevance in both normal and pathological conditions.

How can CD67 (GM2H6): sc-101383 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-101383 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-101383 FITC).
