CCDC6 Antibody (Q-23) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the CCDC6 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CCDC6 antibody (Q-23) is available as the non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. CCDC6, also known as coiled-coil domain containing 6, H4, PTC, TPC, or TST1, is a 585 amino acid cytoskeletal protein that plays a crucial role in cellular structure and function. CCDC6 is predominantly expressed in various tissues throughout the body and is characterized by its alpha helical conformation and a leucine zipper domain, which facilitates interaction with other proteins. Notably, CCDC6 serves as a fusion partner for the RET receptor tyrosine kinase, a proto-oncogene involved in glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor signaling, and the platelet-derived growth factor receptor beta (PDGFR-β), which acts as a mitogen for mesenchyme- and glia-derived cells.
