NFATc4 Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects NFATc4 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NFATc4, or nuclear factor of activated T cells, cytoplasmic, calcineurin-dependent 4, is a crucial component of the nuclear factors of activated T cells DNA-binding transcription complex, which plays a significant role in regulating cytokine gene expression, cardiac hypertrophy, and adipocyte differentiation. NFATc4 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and translocates to the nucleus upon T cell receptor stimulation, where NFATc4 influences the transcription of key cytokines, including interleukin-2 and interleukin-4. Proper functioning of NFATc4 is vital for T cell activation and immune response, as NFATc4 dysregulation can lead to various immunological disorders.
