    SEE ALSO...

LTK Antibody (B-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LTK protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LTK (B-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LTK, or leukocyte tyrosine kinase, plays a crucial role in the development and function of the immune system, particularly in B-lymphocyte precursors, where LTK is essential for proper signaling pathways that regulate cell proliferation and differentiation. Additionally, LTK has been identified in forebrain neurons, suggesting involvement in neural signaling processes. LTK′s structure, characterized by its receptor tyrosine kinase domain, is vital for enzymatic activity, allowing phosphorylation of tyrosine residues on target proteins, which is a key mechanism in cellular communication and response to external stimuli. Understanding LTK′s function and structure is important for elucidating its role in various diseases, including cancers where receptor tyrosine kinases are often dysregulated.
