BRAG2 Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects BRAG2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). BRAG2 (D-10) antibody is available as the non-conjugated form. BRAG2, also known as GEP100, plays a crucial role in cellular processes by acting as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor for ADP-ribosylation factor 6 (ARF6), a member of the Ras superfamily of GTP-binding proteins. This interaction regulates vesicle trafficking and signal transduction, particularly in cell adhesion and migration. BRAG2 exists in two isoforms, BRAG2a and BRAG2b, which can localize between the cytoplasm and nucleus, highlighting a dynamic role in cellular signaling. BRAG2′s binding to phosphorylated epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) at specific tyrosine residues enhances ARF6 activation, promoting tumor invasion in breast cancer cells, such as MCF7.
