    SEE ALSO...

Thrombospondin 1 Antibody (TX17.10) is a rat monoclonal IgG2a antibody designed to detect Thrombospondin 1 (TSP-1), also known as cartilage-derived retinoic acid-sensitive protein (CD-RAP) in cartilage-related studies. Anti-Thrombospondin 1 antibody (TX17.10) is raised against mouse Thrombospondin 1, ensuring precise recognition of the target protein. Thrombospondin 1 is a large, multidomain extracellular glycoprotein characterized by its complex structure, which includes multiple thrombospondin type 1 repeats (TSRs). These structural domains facilitate TSP-1′s interactions with a variety of cell surface receptors and extracellular matrix components, making its structure crucial for mediating cell-to-cell and cell-to-matrix signaling. The intricate architecture of TSP-1 allows TSP-1 to play essential roles in processes such as platelet aggregation, cellular adhesion, migration, and the regulation of tissue development and repair. By targeting specific structural domains, Thrombospondin 1 monoclonal antibody (TX17.10) enables researchers to investigate the functional implications of TSP-1′s interactions and structural conformation in various biological contexts. Anti-Thrombospondin 1 antibody (TX17.10) is validated for use in western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and flow cytometry (FCM), providing reliable performance in these applications. Thrombospondin 1 antibody (TX17.10) does not cross-react with other thrombospondin family members or unrelated proteins, ensuring accurate and consistent results. Using Thrombospondin 1 antibody (TX17.10), scientists can gain deeper insights into the structural-functional relationships of TSP-1, advancing our understanding of its role in physiological and pathological mechanisms.

How can Thrombospondin 1 (TX17.10): sc-65210 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

    Asked by: cjMara
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-65210 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-65210 FITC).
