    SEE ALSO...

SPATA19 Antibody (B-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SPATA19 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SPATA19 (B-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SPATA19 protein, also known as spermatogenesis associated 19 or spergen1, is a 167 amino acid mitochondrial outer membrane protein that plays a crucial role in spermiogenesis, the process of sperm cell development. Specific expression in the testis highlights SPATA19′s importance in male fertility, as SPATA19 is involved in the maturation of sperm cells, which is essential for successful reproduction. The gene encoding SPATA19 is located on human chromosome 11, a region known for its dense association with various genes linked to diseases, including those affecting cell cycle regulation and apoptosis. Understanding SPATA19′s function and interactions within the cellular environment can provide insights into male reproductive health and potential fertility issues, making anti-SPATA19 antibody (B-9) a valuable tool for researchers studying spermatogenesis and related disorders.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with SPATA19 (B-9): sc-514325?

    Asked by: jerojero
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
