Der Podoplanin-Antikörper (E-1) ist ein monoklonaler Maus IgG2a κ Podoplanin-Antikörper, der Podoplanin menschlichen Ursprungs durch WB, IP, IF, IHC (P) und ELISA nachweist. Der Podoplanin-Antikörper (E-1) ist als nicht konjugierte Form des Anti-Podoplanin-Antikörpers sowie als mehrere konjugierte Formen des Anti-Podoplanin-Antikörpers, einschließlich Agarose, HRP, PE, FITC und mehreren Alexa Fluor®-Konjugaten, erhältlich. Die Puromycin-Aminonukleosid-Nephrose (PAN) ist ein Rattenmodell für die humane minimalinvasive Nephropathie. Während der PAN wird eine schwere Proteinurie induziert, die durch eine reduzierte Expression eines ratenpodozyten Proteins, das Podoplanin genannt wird, begleitet wird. Podoplanin, auch als Glycoprotein 38 (gp38) bekannt, ist ein Typ-I-Membranprotein. Podoplanin lokalisiert sich in stromalen Zellen des peripheren lymphatischen Gewebes und thymischen epithelialen Zellen. Als Regulator des lymphatischen Endothels spielt Podoplanin wahrscheinlich eine Rolle bei der Aufrechterhaltung der einzigartigen Form der Podozyten.
