Syntaxin 1B Activators

Phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate, diacylglycerol, and arachidonic acid activate protein kinase C (PKC). PKC phosphorylates Munc18, a protein known to bind and regulate Syntaxin 1B, leading to enhanced Syntaxin 1B activity. Forskolin and 8-Bromo-cAMP elevate cAMP levels, activating protein kinase A (PKA). PKA phosphorylates SNAP-25, a SNARE protein that interacts with Syntaxin 1B, enhancing Syntaxin 1B activity.
