SLC22A24 Activators

SLC22A24 Activators are a group of chemical compounds that can enhance the functional activity of the SLC22A24 protein. These activators can either directly enhance the transport function of SLC22A24 or indirectly lead to its increased functional activity. For instance, compounds like acetylcholine and nicotine act by activating nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, enhancing the influx of Na+ ions and thereby increasing the electrochemical gradient which drives the transport activity of SLC22A24.
