SGLT-6 Activators chemical class is a group of compounds that can influence SGLT-6 activity through various means. Since SGLT proteins function by co-transporting sodium and glucose across membranes, activators could include molecules that enhance this co-transport mechanism, affect the sodium gradient across the membrane, or alter cellular energy states and glucose metabolism.
