MycN Activators

MycN Activators refer to a collection of compounds or chemicals that can either directly or indirectly activate the MycN transcription factor. Their primary action is not necessarily on MycN itself, but on interconnected cellular pathways that culminate in modulating the activity of this transcription factor. For instance, growth factors such as EGF and PDGF are known to initiate signaling cascades, like the ERK and PI3K/AKT pathways respectively, which have downstream effects on MycN.

Similarly, Wnt3a is involved in the Wnt signaling pathway, which has been shown to have upstream effects on MycN activation.
