MAPBPIP Activators

MAPBPIP activators are a class of compounds that enhance the functional activity of MAPBPIP, a protein implicated in lysosome biogenesis and endosome-lysosome trafficking. These activators exert their effects by modulating distinct biochemical pathways that regulate the function of MAPBPIP. They include compounds such as Rapamycin and Curcumin, which influence the mTOR and NRF2 pathways respectively, leading to enhanced MAPBPIP functional activity. Other compounds such as Forskolin and Resveratrol modulate the AC and PI3K/AKT pathways respectively, leading to increased MAPBPIP activity.

Capsaicin and Genistein, for example, work through the TRPV1 and PI3K/AKT pathways respectively, promoting MAPBPIP function. Berberine and Salicylic Acid are also part of this class, impacting AMPK pathway to upregulate MAPBPIP. Another compound, Caffeine, influences the PDE pathway, leading to enhanced MAPBPIP functionality. Quercetin and Berberine affect the PI3K/AKT and AMPK pathways respectively, leading to enhanced MAPBPIP activity.
