cPKC βI Activators

cPKC βI Activators are a diverse array of chemical compounds that indirectly or directly enhance the functional activity of cPKC βI through a variety of mechanisms. Compounds like Phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA) and Bryostatin 1 bind to the C1 regulatory domain of cPKcPKC βI Activators, which include a range of chemical compounds, facilitate the activation and function of conventional Protein Kinase C beta I through diverse biochemical mechanisms. Direct activators such as Phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA), Bryostatin 1, Ingenol Mebutate, Prostratin, 1,2-Dioctanoyl-sn-glycerol (DiC8), and Indolactam V function by mimicking the natural ligand diacylglycerol (DAG) or by binding to the C1 domain of cPKC βI, which leads to its membrane translocation and subsequent activation.
