We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. What is the expected molecular weight of TRPC1?

TRPC1 has a predicted molecular weight of 91 kDa in human, however the observed molecular weight in Western blot is between 87-90 kDa.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent antibody, will tell you good story!TRPC-1 (E6) is an excellent antibody for immunoblotting. The antibody gave two clean bands in HEK293 and HepG2 cells, equivalent to 90-95kDa which is perfect. The additional band in human carcinoma cells (see the attached blot) may be due to post-transnational modification or isoforms, depending on the type of post transnational modification it may give additional mass to the protein. The HEK293 is a embryonic kidney derived cell line and known to express neuronal proteins. The HepG2 cell line was derived from a human hepatocarcinoma. Excellent antibody, highly recommended.
