Thank you for your question. PIF1 Antibody (F-10): sc-48377 has been raised against full length PIF1 of mouse origin. No epitope mapping has been performed as of yet, the exact binding site on its target protein is not known, so we are not sure it can recognize both isoforms. Thank you for your question. PIF1 Antibody (F-10): sc-48377 has been raised against full length PIF1 of mouse origin. No epitope mapping has been performed as of yet, so the exact binding site on its target protein is not known.

When should the TransCruz reagent sc-48377 X be used instead of the standard form sc-48377?

Thank you for your question. We recommend using the TransCruz reagent form when performing ChIP or GelShift assays. This form can also be used in other applications such as Western Blot or IHC, but the dilution should be adjusted by a factor of 10 to account for the higher original concentration.
