When should the TransCruz reagent sc-74470 X be used instead of the standard form sc-74470?

Thank you for your question. We recommend using the TransCruz reagent form when performing ChIP or GelShift assays. This form can also be used in other applications such as Western Blot or IHC, but the dilution should be adjusted by a factor of 10 to account for the higher original concentration.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from got strong bands between 50 and 75 kDI got a sample of this antibody and tested it with mouse kidney extract for WB. I only got strong bands between 50 to 75 kD.

Our level of satisfaction regarding the quality of the above mentioned product on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best, is 5. We used the product mainly for Western blotting. The comments I can give to other customers is that, the product is good for Western blotting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very clean antibodyWe recently used this antibody to measure PARP-1 cleavage in treated or untreated MCF7 cell lysates. We loaded 10 µg of protein on a 12% polyacrylamide gel and got a strong, clean signal. We are very happy with this antibody and will definitely use it again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lots of non-specific bands by western blotting.I tested this antibody by western blotting in wt and PARP1-ko mouse cells. Even though a band with the expected molecular mass of PARP-1 was only detected in wt cells, this antibody also picked up a lots of faster- and slower-migrating bands. Membranes were incubated overnight at 4C with 1:500 dilution of the antibody in 5% milk in TBS-0.1% Tween-20.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The size of PARP1 band is much lower.I bought this antibody a coup of months ago. I want to use it to do IP, but the size was not located in 110 kDa or 89 kDa. it was around 58 kDa. I can't use it to start my IP work and email you the evidence.
