Influenza B NA Antibody (MAb B19) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects the Influenza B NA protein of Influenza B Virus origin by western blotting (WB). Anti-Influenza B NA antibody (MAb B19) is available as a non-conjugated format, providing researchers with a reliable tool for studying this critical viral component. The neuraminidase protein plays a vital role in the life cycle of the Influenza B virus by facilitating the release of newly formed viral particles from infected cells, thereby promoting viral spread and infection. This enzymatic activity is essential for the virus to propagate and evade the host′s immune response, making neuraminidase a key target for antiviral therapies. Influenza viruses, which include Influenza A, B, and C, are RNA viruses belonging to the Orthomyxoviridae family and are known for their ability to undergo antigenic shifts and drifts, allowing them to escape immune detection. While Influenza A is notorious for causing pandemics, Influenza B typically results in milder illnesses, such as seasonal flu, underscoring the importance of understanding its viral proteins for effective treatment and prevention strategies.
