    SEE ALSO...

Cortactin Antibody (H-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa light chain antibody developed to detect Cortactin, also known as Ems-1 or CTTN, a pivotal protein involved in the regulation of the actin cytoskeleton. Cortactin monoclonal antibody (H-1) recognizes an epitope mapping between amino acids 499-530 near the C-terminus of human Cortactin and exhibits broad species reactivity, effectively detecting Cortactin from mouse, rat, human, avian, equine, canine, and bovine origins across various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Cortactin plays a critical role in cellular processes such as actin polymerization, cell motility, and the formation of cellular structures like lamellipodia and invadopodia, which are essential for cell migration and invasion. Structurally, Cortactin contains tandem 37 amino acid repeats at its N-terminus and an SH3 domain at its C-terminus, facilitating interaction with key proteins such as the Arp2/3 complex and N-WASP, which are crucial for actin branch formation and stabilization. Anti-Cortactin antibody (H-1) enables researchers to study how Cortactin interacts with Src family kinases, dynamically regulating function through tyrosine phosphorylation, which modulates binding affinity to F-actin and influences cytoskeletal dynamics. These interactions are vital for processes like endocytosis and signal transduction, highlighting Cortactin′s role in maintaining cellular architecture and responding to external stimuli. Cortactin (H-1) antibody provides researchers with a reliable tool for probing intricate protein interactions with Dynamin and PI3K, ensuring accurate detection and analysis in diverse experimental settings. Available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, Cortactin monoclonal antibody (H-1) offers flexibility to meet a wide range of research requirements, making this antibody valuable for scientists investigating cytoskeletal regulation, cell signaling mechanisms, and related biological processes.
