CD94 Antibody (H-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects CD94 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CD94 (H-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CD94 plays a crucial role in the immune response, particularly in the regulation of natural killer (NK) cell activity. CD94 is a member of the C-type lectin superfamily and is primarily located on the surface of NK cells, where CD94 forms heterodimers with NKG2 isoforms. This interaction is vital for the recognition of class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules, which helps to distinguish between healthy and stressed or infected cells. The ability of CD94 to form these heterodimers enhances NK cell′s ability to respond to tumor cells and virally infected cells, making CD94 an important target for therapeutic interventions in cancer and infectious diseases. Using anti-CD94 antibody (H-3) in research can provide insights into the mechanisms of immune regulation and the potential for developing novel immunotherapies.
