Arnt 1 Antibody (H-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects Arnt 1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Arnt 1, also known as aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling as Arnt 1 is essential for the translocation of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) into the nucleus upon ligand binding. This process is vital for the regulation of genes involved in xenobiotic metabolism, including those encoding cytochrome P450 enzymes, which are responsible for the detoxification of harmful compounds. Arnt 1 consists of 789 amino acids and features a basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) domain, a PAC (PAS-associated C-terminal) domain, and two PAS (PER-ARNT-SIM) domains, which are important for dimerization with AhR and subsequent binding to specific DNA sequences known as xenobiotic responsive elements (XREs). The interaction between Arnt 1 and AhR not only facilitates the transcriptional activation of target genes but also underscores Arnt 1′s significance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental toxins. Anti-Arnt 1 antibody (H-6) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying the mechanisms of gene regulation and the effects of environmental pollutants on cellular function.
