Datasheets
  • Recommended use is 2-4 µl per lane in SDS-PAGE
  • Each vial contains 200 µl volume, sufficient for 50 gels
  • The ladder consists of six bands which appear on the final Western blot image: 132 kDa, 90 kDa, 55 kDa, 43 kDa, 34 kDa, 23 kDa
  • This reagent must be used in combination with Cruz Marker™ MW Tag detection antibodies available only from Santa Cruz Biotechnology, Inc.
  • Cruz Marker™ MW Tag detection antibodies include: Cruz Marker™ MW Tag-Alexa Fluor® 488, Cruz Marker™ MW Tag-Alexa Fluor® 647, Cruz Marker™ MW Tag-Alexa Fluor® 680, Cruz Marker™ MW Tag-Alexa Fluor® 790, Cruz Marker™ MW Tag-HRP and unconjugated Cruz Marker™ MW Tag.
  • Cruz Marker™ Molecular Weight Standards appear only on the final Western blot image after incubation with a Cruz Marker™ MW Tag detection antibody. These are not prestained markers.
  • Cruz Marker™ Molecular Weight Standards are provided ready to use in SDS-PAGE loading buffer and can be loaded directly into an SDS-PAGE gel. No dilution or reconstitution is required.
  • Cruz Markers™ are provided for use as internal molecular weight standards for chemiluminescent and Near-Infrared Western blotting applications and are ideal for approximating the molecular weight of target proteins.

Cruz Marker™ Molecular Weight Standards use a proprietary technology to allow researchers to visualize the final molecular weight ladder of six bands clearly and consistently on the final Western blot image. Ideal for use in combination with our Prestained Molecular Weight Markers (Broad, High and Low range: sc-2361, sc-2362, sc-2360) for verification and calibration of protein standard migration in SDS PAGE gels and Western blotting membranes.

Cruz Marker™ MW Tag detection antibodies include: Cruz Marker™ MW Tag-Alexa Fluor® 488, Cruz Marker™ MW Tag-Alexa Fluor® 647, Cruz Marker™ MW Tag-Alexa Fluor® 680, Cruz Marker™ MW Tag-Alexa Fluor® 790, Cruz Marker™ MW Tag-HRP and unconjugated Cruz Marker™ MW Tag.

Cruz Marker™ compatible binding proteins include: m-IgGκ BP-HRP (CM) and m-IgGλ BP-HRP (CM).

Cruz Marker™ compatible monoclonal secondary antibodies include: mouse anti-goat IgG-HRP (CM) and mouse anti-rabbit IgG-HRP (CM). Alexa Fluor® is a trademark of Molecular Probes Inc., OR., USA

I ran a gel loaded with your cruz marker, and pretty sure proteins on the gel were transferred to nitrocellulose membrane. Then I used your cruz marker mw tag HRP, which was dissolved in a 5% nonfat TBS-T milk, to incubate membrane, nothing found. plz hel

Is it possible to require a MSDS for this product? Product no.: SC-2035 and would be nice if it was after GHS EU classification.

I bought these standars, but for some reason, I only see one bright band at the top and the rest are very deffuse. I use a 1:1000 dilution of anti-rabbit secondary (sc-2357-CM) in 5% TBS-T skim milk incubated for 1 hour at RT. Any sugestions? Thanks

Thank you for your question. This sounds odd, your conditions are OK. Please contact your distributor that you purchased the markers from and they will help you coordinate a replacement.
