Blimp-1 Antibody (6D3) is a rat monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects Blimp-1 protein of mouse, rat, and, to a lesser extent, human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Blimp-1 (6D3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Blimp-1, also known as B lymphocyte-induced maturation protein or PRDM1, plays a crucial role in the development and differentiation of plasma cells, which are the terminally differentiated form of B-cells responsible for antibody production. This transcriptional repressor is primarily localized in the nucleus, where Blimp-1 acts as a master regulator of terminal B-cell differentiation. Blimp-1 is essential for the upregulation of syndecan-1 and J chain, while simultaneously repressing the transcription of the IFN-β gene and recruiting histone deacetylase to DNA, thereby inhibiting c-myc expression. Blimp-1 expression marks a critical checkpoint in B-cell maturation, allowing fully activated B cells to transition into plasma cells, while eliminating immature and partially activated cells. Understanding Blimp-1 function is vital, as Blimp-1 not only influences the immune response but also has implications in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancers, where dysregulation of plasma cell differentiation can occur.

请问这个抗体可以检测人的Blimp1吗

Asked by: Lili22
Anti-PRDM1/Blimp-1 Antibody (6D3): sc-47732 is recommended for detection of Blimp-1 of mouse, rat and, to a lesser extent, human origin by WB, IP, IF and IHC(P). If you are working with human samples Anti-PRDM1/Blimp-1 Antibody (3H2E8): sc-66015 or Anti-PRDM1/Blimp-1 Antibody (C-7): sc-398699 may be better suited for your experiments.

I am planning to perform a double stain on my tissues. How can I do this with only mouse monoclonal antibodies?

Asked by: Cweed
We recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. This product, sc-47732, is available conjugated to FITC, AF488, and AF647.
