LOXL3 Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LOXL3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LOXL3 (E-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LOXL3 protein plays a crucial role in the extracellular matrix by facilitating the cross-linking of collagen and elastin, which is essential for maintaining the structural integrity and elasticity of tissues. LOXL3 is particularly important in elastogenesis, where LOXL3 localizes to specific sites to promote elastic fiber formation. Additionally, LOXL3 is involved in various cellular processes, including tumor suppression and cellular senescence, with notably high expression in tissues such as placenta, small intestine, testis, heart, ovary, and spleen. LOXL3 interaction with other lysyl oxidase-like proteins, such as LOXL2, can lead to E-cadherin downregulation, a key player in maintaining epithelial integrity, thereby contributing to processes like epithelial-mesenchymal transition, which is significant in tumor progression.
