DDEFL1, also known as development and differentiation enhancing factor-like 1, ACAP4, UPLC1, CENTB6, or ASAP3, is a 903 amino acid cytoplasmic protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes by acting as an ADP-ribosylation factor GTPase-activating protein. DDEFL1 contains two ankyrin repeats, an Arf-GAP domain, and a pleckstrin homology (PH) domain, which are essential for catalyzing the hydrolysis of GTP bound to Arf proteins.
