Datasheets
  • ZNF785 Antibody (C-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgM κ ZNF785 antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 13-34 near the N-terminus of ZNF785 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of ZNF785 of human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for ZNF785 Antibody (C-9) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with ZNF785 Antibody (C-9) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

    SEE ALSO...

ZNF785 Antibody (C-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects ZNF785 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ZNF785 antibody (C-9) is available as a non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. ZNF785, a member of the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation due to its ability to bind DNA through seven C2H2-type zinc fingers and one KRAB domain. This domain interacts with KAP1 protein, which recruits histone-modifying enzymes that can alter chromatin structure and influence gene expression. Two isoforms of ZNF785, resulting from alternative splicing, add another layer of complexity to regulatory functions, potentially allowing for diverse roles in cellular processes. Understanding ZNF785 function is vital, as ZNF785 may be implicated in various biological processes and diseases, making ZNF785 a valuable target for research in gene regulation and therapeutic interventions.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398676 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
