    SEE ALSO...

ZNF688 Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZNF688 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZNF688 (B-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Zinc finger protein 688 (ZNF688) is a 276 amino acid protein that belongs to the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, which is characterized by its ability to bind DNA and regulate transcription. ZNF688 is primarily localized in the nucleus, where ZNF688 plays a crucial role in gene expression by interacting with specific DNA sequences. ZNF688 contains two C2H2-type zinc fingers and a KRAB domain, which is believed to facilitate ZNF688′s interaction with KAP1, a corepressor that recruits histone-modifying enzymes to regulate chromatin structure and gene accessibility. This function is vital for maintaining proper cellular processes, including differentiation and response to environmental signals, making ZNF688 an important player in the regulation of gene expression and cellular homeostasis.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390334 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
