SEE ALSO...

ZNF452 Antibody (G-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ZNF452 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZNF452 Antibody (G-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZNF452, also known as SCAN domain-containing protein 3, plays a crucial role in gene regulation due to its structure, which includes one integrase catalytic domain and one SCAN box domain. These domains are essential for ZNF452′s function in transcriptional regulation, as they facilitate interactions with DNA and other regulatory proteins. The presence of the SCAN box domain is particularly significant, as this domain is involved in protein-protein interactions that can modulate the activity of transcription factors, thereby influencing various cellular processes. ZNF452 is encoded by a gene located on chromosome 6, a region associated with several diseases, including early onset intestinal cancer and various neuropsychiatric disorders. ZNF452′s ability to interact with other proteins and involvement in chromatin remodeling highlight ZNF452′s importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and potential role in cancer susceptibility.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514003 P appropriate for?

Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
