ZNF296 Antibody (C-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZNF296 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZNF296 Antibody (C-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZNF296, also known as zinc finger protein 342, is a crucial nuclear protein composed of 475 amino acids and features six C2H2-type zinc fingers, which are essential for DNA-binding and transcriptional regulation. ZNF296 is primarily located in the nucleus, where ZNF296 plays a significant role in modulating gene expression, thereby influencing various cellular processes such as differentiation, proliferation, and response to environmental stimuli. ZNF296′s ability to interact with specific DNA sequences allows ZNF296 to act as a transcription factor, which is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating developmental pathways. Understanding ZNF296′s function and regulatory mechanisms is important for elucidating potential implications in diseases, including cancer, where dysregulation of transcription factors can lead to aberrant gene expression and tumorigenesis.
