Datasheets
  • ZNF279 Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgA κ ZNF279 antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 521-535 near the C-terminus of ZNF279 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of ZNF279 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for ZNF279 Antibody (F-4) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with ZNF279 Antibody (F-4) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

    SEE ALSO...

ZNF279 Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgA kappa light chain antibody that detects ZNF279 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ZNF279 antibody (F-4) is available as the non-conjugated form. ZNF279, also known as zinc finger protein 279, ZNF280B, SUHW2, and ZNF632, is a crucial nuclear protein composed of 543 amino acids and features four C2H2-type zinc fingers, which are essential for its role as a transcription factor. Located on human chromosome 22, ZNF279 plays a significant role in gene regulation, and proper function is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and influencing developmental processes. ZNF279′s ability to bind DNA through zinc-finger motifs allows modulation of target gene expression, which is particularly important in various diseases, including neurodevelopmental disorders. Mutations in genes on chromosome 22, where ZNF279 is encoded, have been linked to conditions such as Phelan-McDermid syndrome, Neurofibromatosis type 2, autism, and schizophrenia, highlighting the importance of studying ZNF279 for understanding implications in health and disease.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-515438 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
