    SEE ALSO...

ZNF174 Antibody (C-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZNF174 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZNF174 Antibody (C-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZNF174, also known as ZSCAN8 or AW-1, functions as a transcriptional repressor and is a member of the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. ZNF174 plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression by repressing promoter activities of key growth factors such as PDGF-B and TGFβ1, which are involved in cellular proliferation and differentiation. ZNF174 is predominantly expressed in adult ovary and testis, but can also be found in various tissues including small intestine, prostate, colon, spleen, pancreas, skeletal muscle, brain, heart, kidney, and thymus. ZNF174 is localized in the nucleus and features three C2H2-type zinc fingers at C-terminus and one SCAN domain near N-terminus. The SCAN domain facilitates formation of noncovalent complexes among zinc finger proteins, potentially influencing oligomerization and functional interactions, making ZNF174 a vital component in regulation of transcriptional networks and underscoring its importance in developmental and physiological processes.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398744 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
