    SEE ALSO...

ZNF167 Antibody (G-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZNF167 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZNF167 (G-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZNF167, also known as zinc finger protein with KRAB and SCAN domains 7, is a member of the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family and consists of 754 amino acids featuring thirteen C2H2-type zinc fingers, one KRAB domain, and one SCAN box domain. ZNF167 is primarily localized in the nucleus, where ZNF167 plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation, influencing gene expression and cellular function. The presence of the KRAB domain is particularly significant as this domain interacts with KAP1, recruiting histone-modifying proteins that can alter chromatin structure and thereby modulate transcriptional activity. Additionally, ZNF167 exists in two isoforms due to alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity in various biological contexts.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-376321 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
