    SEE ALSO...

ZHX3 Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZHX3 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZHX3 (D-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZHX3 protein plays a crucial role as a transcriptional repressor, primarily localized in the nucleus, where ZHX3 regulates gene expression by interacting with the activation domain of the A subunit of nuclear factor-Y (NF-YA). This interaction is vital for maintaining proper cellular function and development, as dysregulation of ZHX3 can lead to various diseases, including hepatocellular carcinoma, where hypermethylation-mediated silencing of ZHX2 has been implicated. ZHX proteins, including ZHX3, are characterized by their unique structure, which consists of two Cys(2)-His(2)-type zinc-finger motifs and five homeodomains, allowing ZHX3 to form both homodimers and heterodimers. This structural versatility is essential for their function as transcriptional repressors, enabling ZHX3 to modulate a wide range of target genes.
