    SEE ALSO...

ZFYVE19 Antibody (J-24) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZFYVE19 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZFYVE19 (J-24) antibody is available as the non-conjugated form. ZFYVE19, also known as MPFYVE (MLL partner containing FYVE domain), is a 471 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of one FYVE-type zinc finger, which is crucial for its role in cellular processes. ZFYVE19 is predominantly expressed in the heart, brain, kidney, skeletal muscle, and liver, indicating involvement in various transcriptional regulation events within these tissues. The FYVE domain is essential for membrane localization and protein-protein interactions, which are vital for ZFYVE19′s function in cellular signaling pathways. Defects in ZFYVE19 have been linked to acute myeloblastic leukemia (AML), a rapidly progressing cancer of the myeloid line of white blood cells that presents with symptoms such as fever, anemia, bone pain, shortness of breath, and frequent infections. Three isoforms of ZFYVE19 exist due to alternative splicing events, which may contribute to functional diversity and regulatory mechanisms in different cellular contexts.

I am using ZFYVE19 (J-24): sc-101051 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

    Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
