    SEE ALSO...

ZFP37 Antibody (15) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZFP37 protein of mouse, rat, human, and canine origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-ZFP37 antibody (15) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose and horseradish peroxidase (HRP). As a member of the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger family, ZFP37 is a 630 amino acid nuclear protein characterized by twelve C2H2-type zinc fingers and one KRAB domain, which plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation. The KRAB domain interacts with KAP1, facilitating recruitment of histone-modifying proteins essential for chromatin remodeling and gene expression regulation. ZFP37 shows high expression in adult testis, with peak levels during spermiogenesis, indicating a significant role in regulating this process. Two isoforms of ZFP37 arise from alternative splicing, further underscoring complexity and potential functional diversity. ZFP37′s ability to modulate transcriptional activity makes this protein an important target for studies related to gene regulation and reproductive biology.

Are there any issues with using sc-293086: ZFP37 (15) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-293086 conjugates.
