yrdC Antibody (E-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects yrdC protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-yrdC antibody (E-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. yrdC protein, also known as ischemia/reperfusion-inducible protein homolog, SUA5, or dopamine receptor-interacting protein 3, consists of 279 amino acids and is ubiquitously expressed, with highest levels found in brain, liver, and pancreas. yrdC protein plays a crucial role in regulating efflux transporter activity and cargo assembly, which are essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress conditions. As a peripheral membrane protein, yrdC contains a yrdC-like domain and interacts with RSC1A1, localizing to both mitochondrial and plasma membranes.
